"After searching the globe for the most distinct, amazing coffees we have narrowed our focus to our four favorite origins of Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia and Guatemala. Traveling to these origins we seek out coffees that are sweet, clean and complex. Integrity and care are put into every step along the way, from cherry to cup. Our mission as a small batch roaster is to provide you with seasonal, delicious coffees that will tickle your palate and excite your mind." - Case Coffee Roasters
When you think of coffee producing countries you don’t often think about the country of Malawi. In fact, many people have never tasted coffee from Malawi. It is only until recently that roasters have been able to purchase high quality green coffee from this African country. Although Malawi has been producing coffee since the 1800’s, it is only now that we have seen this country be highlighted in the craft coffee industry. My Coffee Pub is thrilled to introduce this new Malawi Misuku from Tinker Coffee Co. It is vibrant, unique and sweet in the cup. You are gonna love it.
We are excited to showcase Brandywine Coffee Roasters this month, and highlight their Gustavo de Jesus Rivera coffee from El Retiro farm, in Colombia. This coffee is special. It is SUPER high altitude and because of the temperature of the coffee, the washing process is VERY unique. Check out the details below.
"We work on projects we love, and hope you'll love them too. We share information freely and believe that this a key to moving our industry forward. We believe that the experience of great coffee paired with great people has the power to change lives for the better, and we're ready to prove it." -Cat and Cloud
"We choose coffees to fit a simple, seasonal menu, and roast them to celebrate each coffee’s unique character."

This month we are excited to be working with Ross Street Roasting Co. from Tama & Toledo, Iowa. We heard about these guys from our close friend and fellow coffee blogger Steve, who blogs regularly on his site, KC Coffee Geek. Steve recommended we check out Ross Street and so we thought we would also let him recommend the coffee that we offered our subscribers as well. Steve was kind enough to oblige and even introduce our roaster this month on the blog. Take it away Steve!
"We are thrilled to bring you this coffee and all it represents for Quills. This micro-lot from Peru is one of two coffees we selected on our first direct trip to origin in the Fall of 2015." - Quills Coffee
While on a roadtrip down south, we stopped for a lunch and visit with friends and family in Little Rock, Arkansas. A good friend suggested we try a new coffee place he was really enjoying and so after lunch we stopped in for a quick visit before getting back on the road. We ordered a pourover of their Costa Rica Perla Negra and were blown away!
We are excited to re-highlight Evocation Micro-Coffee Roastery from Amarillo, Texas. This is the second coffee we have had from them and cannot wait to make it available for our subscribers. The last coffee we had from them was the Kenya Kiruga, which wowed us all back in December of 2014.
